From the printing house: We know the new champions!

Who will win and lift the imaginary main trophy in bowling or badminton was decided in our FINIDR corporate league from mid-January to the end of March.

Sport competition, but also a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. That’s exactly what it was like every Wednesday between 4 and 6 pm at the local Activity4Fun centre. Balanced and interesting duels, surprising match results, advice from the more experienced, but also strategies to challenge the opponents. It all was possible to see in our corporate league this year.

It’s just relaxed and friendly. It may be a cliché to some, but to me those words describe it exactly.

There’s something for everyone. What do I mean?

  • A little bit of sport (yes, even before a night shift it is possible!)
  • a place to unwind
  • motivation to improve
  • getting to know colleagues from other departments across the company
  • a beer or cake as a reward after the performance

But how did it all turn out? Who took the imaginary trophy of FINIDR champions in bowling and badminton?

In badminton it was really even this year, every point influence the ranking and it was changing until the very end. With his balanced performance, Mirek Staszko finally won the first place and won his first title. The second place belongs to Lenka Hlisnikovska and the bronze to Jirka Vitula.

In bowling I could call the result a part of the book series Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien – The Return of the King. After a one-year break and completely undefeated, Lukáš Žvak again “conjured up” the victory, thus continuing his victories in previous years. The second place belongs to last year’s defender Michal Lokajíček and the bronze goes to Sona Sajdoková.

Congratulations to all the winners and prize winners for their great performances!

A big thank you also goes to all the participants who entered this year’s competition. Without you it would not have been possible.
