Between June and September, 38 new colleagues from the Philippines joined us, working on manual finishing line and machine operators, as well as printer’s assistants and printers. Of this total, 26 joined FINIDR A and 12 joined FINIDR B. Their arrival provides vital support to our production teams.
This year’s recruitment drive is exceptional in many ways. Not only is this the largest group of foreign workers we have taken on in a single year, but we have also, for the first time, recruited staff who already have experience in the printing industry. As a result, we expect a quicker induction process and an easier transition into our print works. To make day-to-day communication as straightforward as possible, we have also purchased electronic translators and headphones, which help to overcome the language barrier and facilitate communication during induction and day-to-day operations.
We believe that our Filipino colleagues will soon become fully-fledged members of the team, will be able to make the most of their experience, and that they will thrive with us both professionally and personally. We wish them every success.
A big thank you goes to all staff members involved in integrating our new colleagues into our teams. We greatly appreciate your warm welcome and patience during the induction process.
