The Half of May is traditionally well known for the Prague International Book Fair “Book World”, which hosted 38,000 fans of literature this year.
The World Book Fair 2011 could not be missed by our printing house, which was presentedan entirely new exposition this year. We had created a modern design of our booth with clear layout, many samples and specialities that had been produced by our printing house. For the all three days, our booth was full of business meetings with domestic and foreign publishers, attended by the owner of Finidr printing house Jaroslav Drahos and the commercial director Miroslav Klos as well as by our entire sales team.
Within the frame of the Prague international book fair “Book World” 2011, The Czech bestseller of 2010 was awarded in individual categories, which refers to the quality of the original Czech and translated literary works in our market. This year’s first place went toMichal Viewegh for Biomanzelka who then received the statuette for the best-selling author of the last year from the hands of our commercial director.
