Having positive experience from the past years this year we have also participated in the Job Fair “Symbióza 2008”. This is a prestigious event, which has taken place on March 29th at the premises of College of Mining in Ostrava.
This event helps the candidates looking for employment (most of them are college students) obtain the most information about the possibilities of professional employment with the companies. Thanks to the presentations of the regional companies the candidates gain an overview of all the employers and last but not least the employers and the students as well as graduates of the universities of the Moravian-Silesian region are able to meet each other in person.
More than 150 companies participated in the event. The students of the third and the fifth years from College of Mining – Technical University Ostrava, College of Business in Ostrava, University of Ostrava in Ostrava and University of Business and Entrepreneurship in Karviná, absorbed most of the information. The number of students participating in the event was record-breaking – it exceeded 8 000 visitors. The students showed interest in our printing house, they were especially taken by the possibility of employment with Finidr and also by the possibilities of cooperation with Finidr while working on their final thesis, and some of them were even interested in brigadier work. We interpret our participation in the Job Fair “Symbióza 2008” as very positive; we plan to participate again next year.
