The Frankfurt Book Fair was held annually from 14th to 18th October 2009. We have taken part in the German event several times so far. We have had our own stand there for the third time in a row. Our publishing company was presented to the visitors together with many other publishing companies at the fair. All Sales Department employees went through a lot of trade negotiations which some of them were very successful and new interesting deals were made. One of them is reprinting of our favourite Biology book.
Our Sales Department was represented by:
- Sales Managers: Karin Ploticová and Anna Součková
- Businessmen: Petr Guňka, Romuald Siwek, Milan Štencl, Lukáš Wengřín, Pawel Twardzik, Kateřina Morcinková and Sylvie Lysková.
We would like to thank them for great representation of our publishing company. The days spent at the Frankfurt Book Fair were very busy and exhausting. They had to be at 9a.m. in the hall No. 4.0 at the stand B1345 ready to answer the questions of current and prospective clients as well as the questions of people who were curious about publishing and multimedia issues. Although they finished at 6p.m., they were in the hotel only at 7:30p.m. because of the distance between the book fair and their hotel and because of the long line of cars on the road.
The Sales Department’s task is not over yet. Now they have to make a proper job of all business deals and to fulfil the customers’ needs and requests.
