On 29 July 2026 we added a new KBA Rapida 106 X to our pressroom – an eight-colour sheetfed offset press that marks a significant milestone in the continued development of the FINIDR printing house.
For us, installing the new press is not only an investment in state-of-the-art technology, but also a symbol of trust, partnership and the courage to take on new challenges.
The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of Koenig & Bauer, headed by Jan Korenec, Director for Central and Eastern Europe, by FINIDR’s owner Jaroslav Drahoš, and by the team that installed and commissioned the press. It is their dedication, expertise and teamwork that have brought the new press into successful production.
Our sincere thanks go to all our colleagues at FINIDR and to our partners at Koenig & Bauer who took part in the project. Every one of them helped turn this major investment into reality.
As Jaroslav Drahoš said in his speech at the handover ceremony: “Installing the press and getting it running is not the end – for us, it is only the beginning.” What lies ahead of us now is a period of making full use of its potential, gaining new experience and working together to find ways of achieving even higher print quality.
We are confident that this investment will strengthen our position among Europe’s leading book producers and help us continue to provide our customers with services of the very highest quality.
