On 17 October, 2011, Czech popular actresses Vanda Hybnerova and Klara Issova as well as famous musicians Pavel Sporcl and Michal Malatny came to Matnicky Palace in Prague to read children from their favourite children’s books. Our printing house as the main partner of the project The Entire Czech Reads to Children could not miss this event.
It is an honour for us, that a very special guest, well – know American writer Robert Fulghum arrived. Group Listování with Lukáš Hejlík started with Kvak and Splash, action children reading, by Albert Lobel. Pavel Šrut, the most widely read author of children´s books appeared on the stage as well. His book „Lichožrouti” has recently won the Book of the decade. The whole event was organized by Grassroots Support Organization called The Entire Czech Reads to Children which in the past five years, has been trying to motivate parents to read to their children at least twenty five minutes a day. We look forward to future cooperation on this project.
