A significant milestone in FINIDR’s history was reached on 19 June 2025 – we produced our 500,000,000th book.
After more than 31 years of dedicated work, steady growth, and a deep passion for the printing, we’ve reached another incredible milestone together with our amazing team, surpassing the magical threshold of half a billion books.
The anniversary title was “Bloody Games” by author Katy Crown, printed for the German publishing house WondaVersum GmbH. This title, like many others, features a printed book block edge. The final production step we carry out in the historic building of the former Procházka printing house.
Unlike previous milestone books, which were completed on the book line, this time the production concluded at the edge printing department. That’s also why the book was symbolically flown in by drone from one building of our printing house to the other for the ceremonial launch.
The book was officially christened by our owner Jaroslav Drahoš, Sales & Financial Director Miroslav Klos, and Sales Manager Michaela Jaškovská.
In his speech, Jaroslav Drahoš expressed heartfelt thanks to all those who have been part of our journey, including our cherished “Srdcaři” (“Heart & Soul Team”), the retired colleagues who were there at the very beginning and helped lay the foundations of what FINIDR has become today.
All employees and guests were treated to a celebratory lunch, great coffee from Komunita—Coffee House, and refreshing ice cream from our partner, CNI Tisk Servis. Everyone also received a gift bag as a keepsake from this special day.
