Part-time job for boys from the ADAM association

Text: Lucie Římanová

Our printing company cooperates with young people from the Teenagers’ Club, where adolescents with autism gain their first work experience through summer jobs. It is a valuable life experience for them – they learn to get up early in the morning, develop work habits, communicate in the workplace, and find their way around the company independently.

As every year, in August we welcomed the familiar group of boys from the ADAM association to the manual labor department for the eighth time. From August 11 to 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day, they eagerly joined in the work and showed that they were no longer newbies. They are familiar with the environment and the tasks, so they were able to get to work right from the first day.

The manual labor dispatcher praised them highly this year – the boys handled a large volume of work and showed that they are really good at their jobs. On some days, they even managed to complete the plan faster than we expected.

Another pleasant moment was meeting their friend Filip, who had done the same work with us in the past. Today, he is a permanent employee in our manual labor department, so he was able to join the team not only professionally, but also as a friend.

We are glad that the guys come back to us every year and that our cooperation with ADAM has a firm place in our company. Not only did they help us get through a more demanding period, but they also brought a good mood and team spirit to the department.
