How did I get into creating? Since I was a kid, I was always making things.
I don’t know how, but everything has always been easy for me.
My name is Marta and I was born under the sign of Virgo, which is a reflection of my whole personality – a caring and quiet introvert. More of a social introvert. I like to spend time with just a few people, but even after that I always escape from reality to the nature, to the mountains or home, where I seek peace and quiet. At work I only hear the sound of a folding machine, so when I come home, the silence of home is an oasis of peace and quiet for me.
For me, creativity is a calming therapy that helps me come up with different ideas. Creativity has been with me since I was a kid, but the biggest breakthrough was when I started to study polygraphy. I fell in love with creating things out of paper, like a notepad, a box or a mock-up of a book. I scoured the internet for advice and tutorials on how to create what. I like to remember how many things I created with my own hands, like a scrapbook or a Japanese-bound diary. In elementary and middle school, when something needed to be created, my classmates knew they could count on me. I don’t even know how, but everything always came together for me.
After graduating from high school and joining FINIDR, I expanded my creativity. Apart from paper, it’s also painting with paint, artificial flower arrangements or various decorations. I donate most of the things I create to the people I care about the most. It makes me feel fulfilled and happy because I have created something of my own from the heart. I love the reaction of the gifted people who smile. And that’s what fulfils me the most. It’s just the little things, but they can make my day and others better.
As a hobby, I’m good at creating. To unwind and relax. But I don’t think I’d want to do it for a living.
