Another year of the company league in badminton and bowling is over. Again, this year there were interesting matches on the courts and duels on the lanes. And who made it to the podium?
Our league is always played between January and March. Why at this time of year? Simply because the winter months are ideal for indoor sports. In spring, most of us look forward to being outdoors, when the weather beckons for outdoor activities. Plus, we can probably agree that two and a half months is just about right.
But back to the current year and the overall results. After a long time, both categories have new winners. Although in the case of bowling, an old winner.
In bowling Michal Lokajíček returned to the first place, second place belongs to Sona Sajdoková and third place to Agata Studnicka. It was Michal who finished the league without a single hesitation and he deservedly got the trophy for the best. It will not come as a surprise that in the end the highest scoring duel was played by Michal and Sonia with a score of 174:144.
177-158-153. These are no measurements or slogans. But the final points of the individual medalists in badminton. The interesting thing here is that the whole medal trio is new compared to last year. Richard Lamacz won his first title, Kamil Novák is second and Martina Stružínská is third.
Both winners will also receive one-year traveling trophies. Next year they will be given to the new winners in both sports. Or will we see a golden defence?
