Exceptional books from our production

Text: Ondřej Prokop

There is no doubt that we produce beautiful and high-quality books. This is not only due to the meticulous workmanship devoted to each book, but also to the book awards that titles from our press regularly receive.

One of these awards is the Magnesia Litera. The most important task of these book awards is to promote quality literature. This is without limitation and regardless of genre. That is why the awards have been divided into nine categories, which try to cover all domestic book production.

Although these competitions mainly evaluate the content of the books, we are pleased that FINIDR is often mentioned in the covers of the awarded titles. It is a proof of the trust that publishers and authors give us when they print their great books here. And although this time it is mainly the content that is being judged, the quality of the workmanship plays an equally important role.
