We believe that the future is in our hands and that every step we take today has a significant impact on tomorrow. That’s why we strive to do business responsibly with respect to where we operate.
In each of this year’s issues of Finidrak, we have introduced you to at least some of the selected forms of support, such as Health Clown, Duplex and the ČteFest reading festival.
Throughout the year we are approached by many applicants for help of various kinds and it is not in our power to meet all requests or support all organisations and projects. We therefore stick to our long-standing strategy of support. Our social responsibility activities are directed primarily to schools and non-profit organizations that focus on the personal and educational development of children and youth in Český Těšín and its surroundings.
This includes, for example, providing scrap paper and printing promotional materials. Among the national projects, we have been actively cooperating for a long time with the organization Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children, with which we have been involved since their beginnings, or the aforementioned non-profit organization Health Clown, which brings joy, laughter and good mood to hospitalized children.
Occasionally, we help out of town, especially to seriously ill pediatric patients or to projects that actively motivate children to read and thus contribute to the development of their reading skills and love of literature.
But our support does not stop with children and young people. Climate protection, ecology and sustainable development are also big topics for FINIDR. We are constantly working to reduce CO2 emissions and offset our environmental impact with our activities every year. Thanks to our commitment to plant one new tree for every contract we carry out, our support has also gone into reforestation in the Beskydy Mountains, where we have jointly planted almost 48,000 trees since 2021.
We believe that supporting all these activities makes sense and we are happy to help where it is needed.

Open door day
On Wednesday, November 20, at 5:00 p.m., we welcomed students of the 1st year of the Printing Department from Albrecht High School and their parents to the FINIDR printing house. During an hour and a half we showed them, how our vocational training is carried out, which the pupils of the higher grades are undergoing.
The program started with a short presentation about our company, where we gave basic information about the company and the course of the apprenticeship, from the welcome of the new trainees to their first tasks.
Then we introduced the guests to the guarantors of the internship and showed them the facilities we offer for vocational training. Pupils and parents also learned that the apprenticeship takes place directly at the machines and the training is organised according to activity cards that help pupils develop practical skills step by step.
The programme included a guided tour of the production facility, where visitors could see the entire book-making process and get a better idea of what it is like to work in the printing industry.
