Slowly but surely. Where nature suffered in the past and still bears the consequences of heavy industry in the surrounding area, we have helped it breathe again and bring it back to life. As part of our corporate commitment to plant one new tree for every order, this time the Salamandr organization, with which we cooperate, took us to a place not far from the local cottage and the top of Javorový – to the Gutské peklo nature reserve.

Fourteen Finidra employees, mainly from the bookbinding department, took part in this autumn planting event. Although there were fewer of us than originally planned, we managed to get a lot of work done. At a leisurely pace, in sunny and warm weather, we ended up planting
900 new beech trees.
Anyone who has ever been to a planting event knows that the place where we will be planting can be quite unpredictable. From steep slopes to rocky terrain to soil that is a joy to plant in. You could say that it depends on how lucky you are—you never know what to expect until you get there.
Hashtag: Find me
That’s how you could describe this year’s planting. The organization took us to places that were densely overgrown with raspberry bushes and grass, and sometimes it was hard work just to get through them. And what about when we started planting and were down on the ground? You would hardly be able to find us in that undergrowth. Fortunately, the terrain was otherwise pleasant and the work went smoothly.
Our reward was not only excellent traditional goulash and the feeling of a job well done, but also a beautiful view of the countryside all the way to the snow-capped peaks of the Tatra Mountains.
