On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, FINIDR held its traditional Open Day for first-year students from Albrecht Secondary School and their parents from field Printer. The aim of the meeting was to familiarize students and their families with the environment in which they will undergo their professional training in the coming years and to show them what work in modern printing production looks like.
On behalf of the HR department, I gave the introductory welcome speech and presentation, in which I introduced FINIDR and its cooperation with the school. Students and parents learned details about how the internship at our printing plant works – from the first day to the final evaluation.
They learned about the rules of practice and the activity card system, which serves as a daily schedule and helps students gradually master individual work tasks. During the presentation, students and parents were also introduced to the possibility of advancing in vocational training. Only the best students advance to the third year, and those who prove themselves may receive a job offer at FINIDR upon completion.
The presentation was followed by a guided tour of the production facility led by Ondřej Prokop and Miroslav Staszko. Visitors were able to walk through the entire book production process, from printing to final binding, and take a look at the facilities we have prepared for students.
The atmosphere of the meeting was very pleasant and filled with interest and curiosity. For both students and their parents, it was a great opportunity to get a glimpse into the world of polygraphy and learn more about the environment that will become part of their educational journey in the coming years.
FINIDR has once again defended its EcoVadis silver award. This year with the greatest improvement in its history.
In July, our printing company successfully passed the EcoVadis international sustainability assessment for the seventh time. This prestigious audit assesses corporate social responsibility (CSR) across four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

This year’s result is extremely gratifying for us. We achieved the largest point increase in history between certifications – by exactly 6 points – and at the same time improved in all areas assessed.
FINIDR now ranks among the top 8% of companies worldwide across various industries. We are better than 92% of all certified companies.
This result confirms that our long-term commitment to sustainability, ethical business practices, and a fair approach to people and the environment is yielding concrete results.
A big thank you goes to Marcela Kunčická and Jitka Hejtmánková, who are gradually taking over the agenda related to EcoVadis assessment and are doing a great job in this area.
We believe that we will continue to develop this trend and strengthen our position among the most responsible printers in Europe.
