We’d like to share with you a message of thanks that serves as a wonderful confirmation that what we started together at last year’s Christmas party truly made a difference. Even a small act of kindness has tremendous power when we all pull together.
Thanks to the contributions of all the donors who supported eight-year-old Světlanka through the official “Znesnáze21” fundraiser, we were able to raise the funds for a car that the family so desperately needs to commute to therapy sessions.
It is moments like these that remind us that when we join forces, we can truly achieve great things.
Letter: A Big Thank You
We’d like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts who helped us on our journey to get a new car. It has everything we need! A large trunk that fits Světlanka’s wheelchair, our family of four, and the model year promises that it’ll be with us for quite some time.
Světlanka, who is on the autism spectrum, has taken to the change very well; she no longer looks for the old car in the parking lot and has embraced the new one as her own.
We are well aware that no one has money to spare these days, which is why I deeply appreciate everyone who has helped make Světlanka’s life a little easier. In the end, there were exactly one hundred of you. I see this as a miracle.
Thank you also to those of you who signed your names or wrote a message; thanks to that, our gratitude isn’t anonymous, but for the most part very specific.
