During the 2025–2026 school year, more than 40 students from various schools and fields of study completed vocational training and practical training at FINIDR. The largest group consisted of students from Albrecht High School—11 future printers from the 2nd and 3rd grades and 22 students in printing-related fields participating in a two-week internship.
Supporting vocational education and working systematically with students are among our printing company’s long-term priorities. The goal is not only to pass on practical experience but also to train future colleagues directly within the company environment. This approach has repeatedly proven its worth in recent years and has led to graduates successfully joining our company.
This year was also significant from a personal standpoint. Mr. Vít Kopidol, a longtime vocational training instructor at Albrecht High School who played a major role in training a whole generation of future professionals, is retiring. We extend our sincere thanks to him for his many years of service, his willingness to share his experience, and his collaboration. Starting next school year, a new vocational training instructor will take over and continue his work.
Feedback from the students themselves is also an important part of the internships, providing us with valuable insights for further development. This year’s results confirm a high level of satisfaction—77% of students rated their experience as positive to very positive.
At the same time, long-term feedback shows that the key factor in a successful internship is not only the technical content but also the quality of the work environment. Workplace relationships, the attitude of supervisors, and the overall atmosphere play a crucial role in how students perceive their experience.
These findings also align with the expectations of the upcoming Generation Z, for whom open communication, a respectful environment, and the opportunity for active involvement are important. It is precisely the combination of high-quality professional internships with a friendly corporate culture that creates a solid foundation for the students’ future professional growth and their potential employment at our printing company.
