Production Operator—Folding
When I walked through the door of FINIDR half a year ago, the place smelled of paper and ink. Today I know that this scent is an integral part of a printing plant. Starting as a folding press operator was a challenge for me. Folding isn’t just about the technical settings of the machine; it’s also about having a feel for the material. Every type of paper behaves differently, and my job is to ensure that the result is perfect. Today, I feel much more confident when adjusting the machine, even though I know that in this field, you learn something new with every job. What do I enjoy most about this job? Probably the moment when I realize that the foundation of a future book is taking shape right under my hands. It’s a fascinating process—on one side, a flat sheet goes into the machine, and on the other, something that already has form and order comes out. Sometimes it’s quite a workout, but the feeling of a job well done and the sight of neatly stacked pallets make it all worth it.
At the beginning, it helped me a lot to be surrounded by a team of people who patiently advised and helped me (even when I asked the same question three times). It’s important to me to have people around me whom I can rely on.
I look forward to seeing how many more beautiful books will pass through my hands.

Production Worker – binding machine
I started working at the company 7 months ago. After a two-year break, I decided to return and become part of the team again—I quickly got back into the swing of my daily duties. It’s important to me to complete every task carefully and with full dedication. This job requires precision, concentration, and good organization.
In my daily life, I try to stay calm and level-headed at work, which helps me work accurately and without unnecessary stress. Yoga, which I practice regularly, also plays a big role in this—it makes it easier for me to maintain concentration and balance, even at work. For me, staying calm at work isn’t just a personal trait—it’s also a way to maintain high production quality. I work on the production line, where a finished book emerges at the end of the process. This is where the results of the entire team’s work are most clearly visible.
I especially appreciate being able to rely on the help of more experienced colleagues. Among them is a colleague who teaches me and shares his knowledge with me. Thanks to his support, I was able to settle into my duties more easily and gain confidence in what I do.
What I value most is the friendly atmosphere and the people I have the opportunity to work with every day.
Every workday at the company brings new challenges, which makes it hard to fall into a routine here.
I’m glad to be part of this team, and I look to the future with optimism.
