KBA RAPIDA 106 X

▲ On 29 July, we officially commissioned the new KBA Rapida 106 X printing machine.

More than twenty-five years on from our first negotiations with Koenig & Bauer, an eight-colour Rapida 106 X sheetfed offset press now stands in our production facility. Its installation represents a significant milestone in the further development of our printing works and confirms our ambition to be among Europe’s leading book producers.

But it is not just a new press. It is a decision. A decision to believe in the future. A decision to invest nearly 100 million crowns in technology that will propel FINIDR forward for years to come.

At the handover ceremony, we welcomed representatives from Koenig & Bauer, led by Jan Korenc, Director for Central and Eastern Europe, as well as all the colleagues and partners who contributed to the project.

But honestly…

The most important thing didn’t happen on 29 July 2026.

The most important thing begins every new day.

Every new machine can print.

It is only people who decide whether it will create value.

Technology can give us speed, precision and quality. It can open up new possibilities and help us provide our customers with even better services.

However, it can never replace responsibility.

Nothing can ever replace the desire to improve every day.

And nothing can ever replace a team.

That is why I would like to thank all my colleagues at FINIDR and our partners at Koenig & Bauer for the hard work, expertise, energy and teamwork they have put into this installation. It is thanks to you that this significant investment has become a reality. Without you, the Rapida would be nothing more than a perfectly assembled piece of machinery.

“But it doesn’t end with the installation and commissioning of the press. For us, this is just the beginning.”

Now our work begins.

Turning technology into results.

Results in satisfied customers.

And satisfied customers in FINIDR’s future.
