The past year brought several important milestones and challenges. In this brief overview, we’ll look back at the results of 2025, compare them with 2024, and outline our initial expectations and direction for 2026.
The year 2025 was truly one of the best for FINIDR, as we matched the record-breaking revenue of 2022. Thanks to developments in the area of digital printing on the edges, the company’s added value increased. Conversely, total payroll costs rose more significantly, by 29%, which was due in part to wage growth and, to a greater extent, to a higher number of employees, as we took over all employees from Těšínské papírny last year. As of the end of the year, we have 731 employees at our printing plant. Another positive development is the gradual decline in energy prices, which peaked in 2024. Overall, we exceeded last year’s revenue by 7.4%, and the number of orders produced was also 2.6% higher. In terms of the number of titles produced, we once again surpassed 30 million units after a year of decline. At the same time, in 2025 we celebrated together the production of our 500 millionth book.

The year 2025 was our printing plant’s most successful in terms of revenue, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all 730 of my colleagues at our printing plant for their work and efforts in contributing to the further development of our facility.

The year 2026 is just beginning, and according to current forecasts, the first quarter looks similar to 2025 in terms of orders. And since 2025 was not one of the strongest years for investment, we expect higher investment spending in 2026. This will help ensure the continued stability and operation of our printing plant. We believe that this will also help us increase our production, especially during our peak season in the second half of the year. Thank you all once again, and I wish you all the best both at our printing plant and beyond.
