EDITORIAL

Dear Colleagues,

2025 is now behind us. It was a year we successfully navigated, and one that deserves a brief look back.

At our company party in the STaRS hall, we had the opportunity to pause for a moment together. To reflect on what we’ve achieved and to realize that FINIDR isn’t just about production and machines—it’s first and foremost about people.

We are entering the new year with a clear vision. We know where we want to go. We have a strategy to move us forward. However, the strategy alone will not change anything. It is the daily work of each and every one of us that makes the real difference.

Every person in the company is part of the whole. Each of us has our place. Through our work, each of us contributes to making FINIDR stronger.

Our mission is clear.

We help.

We help bring books into the world.

We help people grow.

We help create a fair environment where it makes sense to work.

These are the values that FINIDR stands for.

However, we must be able to admit that not everything went as we had hoped. As I mentioned earlier, we had to part ways with some colleagues due to serious violations of the rules governing the handling of company assets, which are in direct conflict with our core values.

Values aren’t just words we talk about—they have real meaning only when we make decisions based on them every day and live by them ourselves. They are our compass, guiding us in the right direction even in challenging situations, and that is why we must stand by them. Only then will they become a true part of our culture.

I’d also like to follow up on our party, where our effort to fulfil our “we help” mission wasn’t as strong as FINIDR deserved. Thank you to everyone who participated in the collection—I really appreciate it. At the same time, I feel that we have even greater potential within us and can do more.

If I’m being a bit controversial and look at the total amount we’ve raised together, the contribution per participant works out to about the price of a small beer at a restaurant.

That’s not a criticism. It’s more of a thought question. Maybe we just need to talk about it more, explain more clearly why we’re doing this. And maybe just be more aware of opportunities where we can do something good. FINIDR has always been a company that has managed to be not only strong, but also fair and humane. And that is something we should never forget.

2025 was a good year, and we’ve had a string of successes. The things that didn’t go our way give us the opportunity to do better next time.

But we’ve had the most important thing for a long time now.

We have a team.

A team of people who can overcome obstacles, find new paths, and drive things forward. And that is precisely where FINIDR’s strength lies.

I hope that 2026 will be a year in which we are not only successful, but also proud of what we are creating together.
