Transforming the STARS sports hall into a neon-lit party was once again a major challenge. In a space normally dominated by sports, we wanted to create a cozy atmosphere filled with lights and colourful effects. But we wouldn’t be us if we didn’t rise to the occasion. And we believe the result was worth it.

Our company grows every year, and the capacity of the KaSS venue in Český Těšín, which we used to use, is no longer sufficient for us, so we have to look for new, larger spaces. And since there aren’t exactly many of them in the Těšín area, this year we chose the STARS sports hall in Třinec. After the first tour, I could hardly imagine that a Christmas party could be held here, but even the seemingly impossible became a reality. Months of preparation, planning, and fine-tuning every detail preceded this, so that we could create a pleasant environment, an entertaining program, and a great atmosphere for you.
Another challenge for us this year was online registration and cashless ticket payment via a mobile app. Although the system had a few minor glitches, we managed everything in the end, and entry to the event went quickly and smoothly. The social wall was also a new feature. We were able to share our photos and videos in the app during and after the party to show how much fun we were having.
So, what was the evening like?
On Friday, December 19, starting at 5 p.m., hostesses welcomed guests at the entrance, scanning QR tickets on their cell phones and handing out glowing LED bracelets that flashed to the beat of the music throughout the evening. As a welcome drink, the Komunity bar prepared an original surprise in the form of an alcoholic caviar made from gin and lychee, served on spoons.

The opening ceremony was led by the DJ duo Bratři (The Brothers) with their electronic music accompanied by a projection show. Mr. Drahoš then took the floor, welcoming the guests and thanking the employees for a successful 2025. The program was truly packed, as a light show followed immediately afterward, the buffet opened, and guests could enjoy a varied selection from the menu. In addition, there was UV face and body painting, as well as the traditional opportunity to create a memory in the photo booth.
Those who felt like getting moving joined a dance workshop with Ewa Troszok, who managed to get the entire dance floor moving.

The main musical highlight of the evening was the Czech band MIG 21. During their legendary song “Kalhotky si sundej,” Mr. Drahoš fired panties bombs into the crowd with inscriptions such as “slivovice,” which also served as vouchers. A few lucky guests thus took home a bottle of something a bit stronger.

Just before midnight, the Brothers took the stage for a second time, and the evening wrapped up with DJ Jiří Halák and his fantastic playlist. He also served as the emcee and guided us through the entire party.
I’m thrilled with how last year’s party turned out, and I believe we all enjoyed it after such a challenging year. The happy faces and positive reviews in the app were the greatest reward for the entire organizing team.

We were also thrilled that the guests coordinated their outfits in neon colours, and some even came in original outfits, which added an even better atmosphere to the whole event.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped in any way with the party preparations. It was a blast, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
