  5. WHEN WE JOIN FORCES

WHEN WE JOIN FORCES

This year’s December company party was special in several ways. In addition to the pleasant atmosphere, catching up with colleagues, and reflecting on the year together, it also became an opportunity for us to go the extra mile—to help where it’s truly needed. We therefore organized a fundraiser to support the ADAM association—Autistic Children and Us—which has long been helping families of children with autism spectrum disorder and other serious disabilities.

Helping where help is needed has been part of our mission for many years.

For us, the value of “helping” is not just a word, but a commitment we strive to fulfil every day. Supporting those in need has therefore long been a part of our corporate events. At parties and similar gatherings, we regularly strive to combine enjoyable moments with the opportunity to help those who need it most.

Thanks to those of you who decided to contribute to the fundraiser at the party, we were able to raise a symbolic amount that has been turned into tangible help.

The company’s owner, Jaroslav Drahoš, then doubled the entire amount raised.

Half of the funds went directly to support the ADAM association and will be used for therapeutic stays for children who need intensive and long-term care.

The other half was divided among three specific children—Oliver, Světlana, and Vašek—and their families, who face challenging health and life situations every day.

Each of these stories is different, but they share one thing in common—without help from those around them, these families would struggle immensely.

Even a small act of help makes a difference, and when we come together to support it, its impact grows exponentially. We’ve already shown that we can do this, and we know our potential is even greater. Let’s look for opportunities to help together, get actively involved, and make the world a little easier for those who need it right now. Every step we take counts, and together, we can make a real difference.

Oliver
is an 11-year-old boy with a severe developmental disability who is learning to walk again after an accident and needs intensive rehabilitation.

Světlana
is an eight-year-old girl with childhood autism and severe intellectual disability, for whom safe transportation to therapy sessions is essential.

Vašek
is a 13-year-old boy with a severe disability, and his family urgently needs a specially adapted car to get to doctors’ appointments, physical therapy sessions, and the spa.
